Hi Victoria,

I heard from other ITP participants that your session was excellent. I've missed that. Is there a possibility to get some material? If so please e-mail to aurea.lucas@success.bc.ca. I am sure this is worth sharing to newcomers since I do both Settlement and Labour market information for Filipino Community in Surrey Office. Thanks. and more power!

Very useful advise. Research on the industry, job market and on your desired employers should be the cornerstone of any job-hunter. Many times, we rush to submit a generic resume, without even looking if it meets the requirements of the post. Also, networking with professional associations and tapping the right job placement agency would be handy.
