Mentorship Program

The Mentorship Program helps internationally trained immigrants (mentees) understand the Canadian job market in their field of expertise and/ or professional background through one-on-one or group partnerships with a local mentor. Over a four (4) month period, a local mentor provides occupation-specific coaching to guide a mentee’s career development and overall personal growth in Canada.

Mentorship is free and available to:

  • Immigrants who arrived in Canada within the past 5 years, and are currently working with an Employment Counselor at an immigrant serving agency
  • Immigrants with overseas experience and/or education
  • Unemployed or underemployed
  • Able to communicate at an intermediate to advance level in English
